This project included the take down and removal of existing fixtures and fittings relating to the closed Carpet Right store. Once stripped back, the formation of the new gym began.
Installing dedicated areas for free-weights and functional use (which includes use of kettle bells and slam balls), changing room & shower areas, a large main floor for resistance, cardio activity and a flex zone for stretching and light activities (no weight drops).
The gym will also provide a general Activity Studio and a Spin Studio, used for all manner of exercise classes. It was also important to upgrade the building by adding an access control system, CCTV, audio equipment, air conditioning and up to date fire safety features.
